Okay, so let's just go along with the iPhone 5 rumors and take a look at why Apple wuld be willing to release the next generation iPhone so soon. Well first off there's the whole antenna situation that's been buzzing in the media. The iPhone 4 has had it's problems with the antenna, the "grip of death" has been a black cloud over the new iPhone. So there is some possibility that Apple would want to bring out the next generation quickly to appease all the customers that were jilted by reception problems.
